Amazing Digi Scrap Race Season 2 Winners!

My partner and I, Rachel, won the ADSR!! We were both so excited! Seems everyone knew before us! lol The last 24 hours have been SOOOOO exciting!! So I thought that I would show everyone what I purchase from all these wonderful shops as the prizes roll in! Everyday I will choose a different store and post what I purchased there! :) Sounds like fun to me! This morning I received my email from Shannon @ DST! I am now set up until August 2009!!! My ever generous and beautiful partner already has a Diamond Membership so she gave me her prize as well. LOVE IT! So I downloaded Summer Time Fun by Gina Cabrera! and its just packed with lots of beautiful goodies!

My next stop of the day was KB and Friends! Which is a fabulous store for people who are addicted to heritage layouts! Lots and lots of wonderful things in their store. Here is what I purchsed with their gift certificate.

The mice are my fave and I plan to scrap them first! My Dad called me Mouser while I was growing up so they are perfect embellishments for that story! :) Stay tuned for tomorrow's purchases!!!

Special thank you to Rachel, DST and KB & Friends!

A Floral Affair and GWP!!

I have a new product in the store today! A new mini kit called A Floral Affair. I really had a wonderful time putting this one together. Without a doubt my favorite pieces are the bracelet element, which could also double as picture frames and the large 12x12 photo frame.

If you buy the kit this week, you also get a Gift with Purchase, my new journalling tags, Talk To Me! They are so fun and are great for all kinds of layouts!

I have been having so much fun lately. There is nothing better then seeing my elements in the galleries and receiving terrific emails about them. Just so happy!! Thanks for stopping by!

So much going on!

Wow, things are in a whirlwind these last few weeks with everything going on!! I am slowly building up my store at DSAG! I am really excited about my new photo actions. Such a great way to add pizazz to layouts without a lot of work. I now have 8 actions in the store, two packs. There are actions for black and white conversion, chocolate conversion, soft color pop, urbanization, colored sketch look, black and white sketch look, oil and water color painting looks! Jazz up your photos with these easy one click photo actions!!!

This week at our chat Stacey and I talked about using art as inspiration which was very easy for me to achieve with my Paint It Up Collection. Here is my layout! I also used Birgit Kerr's new kit Easy Living which is just fabulous and everyone should have it!

Also this week the Guild joined the ever growing Facebook fascination! Check out our new group! Its brand spanking new! Its growing all ready and I cant wait to see how it expands! So thats most of the news for this week! I have a new mini kit in the store on Saturday and I will be posting a preview soon!!! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Christine Tagged Me!!

I have been tagged! When I read Christine's little random facts I laughed out loud. Its amazing what we learn about each other through these things!!! Here are the rules:

The Rules:1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules. (if you don't have a blog, email me)
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My Eight Things!

Something crazy and a little OCDish? I have to pee RIGHT before bed. If I dont, I will just lie there thinking about it. Crazy huh?

I tell Connor that I love him every night, whether he is asleep or not even with me.

It drives me NUTS when people where socks with sandals to the point where I have yelled at people I know for doing it. lol

Pink and brown are my favorite colors.

I still have my teddy bear from when I was a child. He sleeps with Connor now.

I have what we have nicked 'small lasting obsessions.' Every now and then I will become completely obsessed with something whether it be crocheting or weightloss, something! However, the interest only lasts so long and then I completely forget all about it. Hence the reason people are amazed that its over a year later and I am still obsessed with digi scrapping.

My guilty pleasures are poutine and ice cream. I will NEVER give them up. I know I have to learn to limit them but I refuse to live without them. :)

I chew my knuckles. Most people seem to chew their nails but that's just wrong! lol No, seriously, instead of chewing my nails, I chew my thumb knuckle when I am thinking or nervous.

Now you know some crazy things about me!

PS, my blog really needs a facelift.

Sketch Challenge!!

Wow, has it really been THAT long since I posted here? Well I suppose it has been. Life has been beyond hectic these last few weeks and I havent had as much time to play. As far as my scrapping life goes, I dont know how it could get much better. I am on a FABULOUS creative team that just throws out the most amazing layouts everyday. The designers I work for? Well they are some of the most creative ladies around the digi world and I am so privledged to be with them. Our CT will be together for SIX months soon and its so hard to believe. Time is just flying by!!! I am so happy to know that they have asked us to stay another term with DSAG and that just made me smile from ear to ear. PLUS I got another piece of news that I cant share but it made me cry! Happy tears that is. lol So I am very excited about all the going ons in my cyber world.

Speaking of going ons in my cyber world; I host a challenge over at DSAG every week plainly named "Amy's Sketch Challenge." Every week I try to make sure everyone that particpates gets a little something. This week I decided to try my hand at making some 12x12 edges!

Living on the Edge

So if you post a layout before Sunday at midnight EST this week, you get my edges. :) Some times its just some elements, sometimes an alpha but sometimes I get excited and make a whole kit like my X kit from last week.

X

I really love creating these elements for everyone. I know I have a while to go but I look forward to learning everything I can in this area. :) So if you have a minute and you havent already, check out my challenge! Appreciate it. You never know what kind of treat I will hand out next!

Down on the Farm

Wow, it really has been a long time since I blogged. Things have been so hectic, good, but hectic. I started a new challenge at DSAG last week for sketches. It had a decent turn out last week and I am hoping for the same this week. I was really in the mood to create today and sat at the computer for HOURS. I came up with this little kit called "Down on the Farm." I have decided to give it to anyone who participates in my challenge this week.
Down On the Farm
I havent even made a layout with it yet but am hoping too within the next day or so. I really think that I am getting better at creating these kits and am very happy about it. So much more to learn but hopefully some day I will be a 'real' designer. For anyone who is interested, here is the link to my challenge this week: Friday Sketch Challenge! Week 2!
Thanks for reading and I hope you will take a minute to stop by DSAG!
